Family Of Yankees Fan Assaulted At Camden Yards Thanks Hospital
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The family of a man critically injured in a fight and fall at an Orioles game have issued a statement thanking staff at Shock Trauma and asking for prayer.
Matthew Fortese's family said in a statement released Wednesday saying they were also grateful for the support of family and friends. They asked that their privacy be respected.
The 25-year-old Fortese was taken to Shock Trauma on May 30 after police say he was punched in the head during an argument at a game with the Washington Nationals at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Fortese, who had been standing on a 5-foot wall, fell and hit his head. He was wearing a New York Yankees cap,
Two men were charged with assault in the incident.
