Family Displaced After House Fire Near Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say a family has been displaced after a house fire caused $25,000 in damage to their home.

The fire was reported Saturday about 8:50 p.m. on Mount Aetna Road near Hagerstown. Officials say faulty wiring in the attic above the living room caused the blaze.

About 30 firefighters from several companies battled the blaze.
