Ex-CEO Of Md. Fast-Food Franchise Pleads Guilty
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say the former CEO of a fast-food franchise has pleaded guilty to embezzling $885,000 and using the money for prostitutes, phone sex and personal expenses for phone sex providers.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Baltimore says Mark Goodnow, the former head of Severna Park-based Wings to Go, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of wire fraud.
Prosecutors say Goodnow, 55, spent the money between 2006 and 2012 and reported the more than 200 expenditures were for advertising.
Goodnow faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine at sentencing Oct. 30.
