MLB Analyst Kurkjian: 'All The Orioles Can Do Is Hope Ubaldo Gets Better Quickly'
Tim Kurkjian is an analyst who covers the MLB for ESPN.
Tim joined Ed and Steve to talk about MLB topics, and his new book 'I'm Fascinated By Sacrifice Flies: Inside The Game We All Love'.
Tim started off by talking about the Orioles and what they should do with pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez saying, "they just have to hope this gets better and quickly, a lot better and quickly...as we all know their starting pitcher can be shaky and they just can't keep sending this guy out there." As for what he thinks the O's will do with Ubaldo Tim said, "I think they're going to give him some more time and hope gets better and if he doesn't they're going to have to make the call."
As for Hyun Soo Kim and his early struggles and what the Orioles should do with Kim Tim said, "the lesson here especially with the Asian players, you have to give them more time...the game is better here than it is in Korea or Japan."
Tim also talked about his new book and talked about some of the stories within the book and how it all came about.
