Eric Dickerson Would Not Trade His Hall Of Fame Bust For A Super Bowl Trophy
Eric Dickerson is a former NFL running back who played for 11 seasons in the 1980's and 90's. Eric currently holds the NFL record for most rushing yards in a single season with 2,105 yards set in 1984.
Eric joined Ed & Steve from the site of the Superbowl to talk about his rushing record, trading solo glory for a championship and the big game this Sunday.

Steve asked Eric if he was sweating the fact that Adrian Peterson almost broke his single season record a couple years ago. Eric said he definitely did not want Peterson to break his record but he was not worried about it either. Eric also went on to talk about how the game has changed and how running backs have been devalued.
Eric was then asked about whether or not he would trade his Hall-Of-Fame ring and jacket and bust for a Superbowl championship. Eric gave an honest response and said he would absolutely not trade his individual accomplishments for team glory. Saying that everyone involved with the team seems to get a Superbowl Ring but that it's incredibly prestigious honor that only you enjoy when you are elected to the Hall-Of-Fame.
Eric also gave some great perspective about dealing with concussions and some of the effects he is feeling now.
