Election 2014: Where & When To Vote In Maryland
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — Election Day in Maryland will be on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
According to the Maryland State Board of Elections, registered voters may cast a ballot in person or via absentee or provisional ballot.
Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Some Marylanders took advantage of early voting in Md. which ended Thursday, Oct. 30. According to the state board of elections, 8.3 percent of eligible voters voted early or around 307, 646 people.
The board of elections suggests voters go to polls between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to avoid lines and delays.
Where Do I Vote?
Election Day: Registered voters should head to their assigned polling place, which can be found on their voter notification card or by clicking here. However, if a voter has recently moved, they should search for the polling place based on their new address or contact the local board of elections.
Centers are at facilities that are accessible with parking.
How Do I Vote?
In-person: Registered voters will use a touchscreen voting system at a designated polling location. At polling locations, volunteers will be available to help a voter understand how to use the machine, but voters must cast their ballots alone, unless a voter cannot physically cast the ballot because of a disability, inability to write or inability to read the ballot.
Absentee: Voters will use a paper ballot regardless of how it is sent to them. Voters then must fill out the ballot and mail it in or hand deliver it to your local election board. You can request an absentee ballot by mail, electronically or by fax. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Tuesday, Oct. 28. The deadline for an electronic absentee ballot is Friday, Oct. 31. You can also vote by absentee at your local board of elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 4.
Provisional: Voters required to vote by provisional ballot will be asked to complete a provisional ballot application and then issued a paper ballot. It is important that voters complete the entire provisional ballot application because the information on the application is used to determine whether the provisional ballot will be counted.
