4 People Shot In 4 Separate Shootings Across Baltimore Friday, Police Say
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Four people were shot in four separate shootings across Baltimore on Friday, according to police.
The first shooting happened in west Baltimore around 9:38 a.m.
An officer on patrol was approached by a man with a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the victim was shot in the 1600 block of W. North Avenue.
The second shooting happened in northwest Baltimore shortly after 10:30 a.m.
Officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Investigators believe the victim was in the area of Jonquil and W. Northern Parkway when he was shot.
The third shooting happened in southwest Baltimore just after 5 p.m.
Officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim told investigators that he was shot in the 2000 block of Hollins Ferry Road.
The fourth shooting happened in northwest Baltimore.
An officer on patrol in the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue was approached by a man suffering from gunshot wounds shortly before 7 p.m.
The victim told the officer he was shot in the 4900 block of Edgewood Street.
The victim was taken to an area hospital by ambulance.
