Ed Norris: Why I Love Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley was asked about Michael Jordan's performance as owner of the Charlotte Bobcats and said that Jordan hasn't done a good job in that role.
Now it's refreshing enough that he took on one of the biggest legends in all of sports and basically said what many of us were thinking. However, it's even more impressive when you consider that they are the closest of friends. If it came from an enemy or anyone else with an agenda it would be one thing but the fact that it was Barkley talking about Jordan makes it all the more hard hitting.
Couple this interview with his defense of Jeremy Lin's performance against the Miami Heat and you have I think one of the most honest voices in sports. ( if you remember everyone else including Shaq was jumping all over Lin for his play that night).
I wish more guys could be like him in the world of sports media.
