Ed Norris: Flacco Versus Brady & The Patriots
The Patriots certainly bring out the best in number 5, if not the entire team. I get very tired of hearing from fans about passing yards and QBR. I don't want a fantasy quarterback I want a reality quarterback, and Joe Flacco is exactly that, especially against the Patriots.
Just a few stats for your consideration.
In six games since Joe was a rookie he has thrown 12 touchdowns and 4 interceptions against the Pats while Tom Brady has thrown 6 touchdowns and 9 picks.
Even more impressive is Joe most recently. In the last 4 games which include two AFC championships Flacco has thrown for 1213 yards, 10 touchdowns and 2 ints for a passer rating of 109.8.
Joe is a winner and the Ravens are certainly not afraid of the Patriots. I'm feeling very good about the game this Sunday and so should you.
