Eastwood's Biopic On J. Edgar Hoover Filming In D.C.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Clint Eastwood's upcoming movie about longtime FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover is filming in Washington this weekend.
The D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development says the upcoming biopic, "J. Edgar," is filming downtown Saturday and Sunday. But the office isn't commenting on specific filming locations.
Leonardo DiCaprio plays the FBI director. The film also stars Naomi Watts as his secretary and Armie Hammer as Clyde Tolson, Hoover's assistant and rumored lover.
The film is directed by Eastwood and is written by Dustin Lance Black, who won an Academy Award for his writing in the 2008 biopic "Milk," starring Sean Penn.
