Dundalk House Fire That Killed 10-Year-Old Girl Under Investigation
DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)—Gone too soon. The investigation continues into a deadly fire that killed a 10-year-old girl in Dundalk.

Stuffed animals and signs of condolences now decorate the fence in front of the home where 10-year-old Raven Lacy died.
"It was engulfed in flames," said Tim Sidor. "It's like somebody set a bomb off."
It's a devastating loss for many in the neighborhood.
"She used to come and play with the girl across the street. Oh my, that's terrible," said Ann Rangel, neighbor.
It was just before 11 p.m. Saturday when the blaze ripped through the home. Several of Lacy's family members were inside, including her mother, grandfather and five other children.
They made it out alive but with injuries. Three of the siblings were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
WJZ spoke to neighbors who are still living with the terrifying sights on Hartwait Street.
"I never seen so much smoke," said Catherine Demski, neighbor. "I opened the door and saw that it was ghastly."
Baltimore City firefighters on the scene had to evacuate the home themselves and battle the fire from the outside.
Unfortunately, they then re-entered the home to make a gruesome discovery.
"They were able to locate the body of a lifeless girl inside the dwelling," said Chief Kevin Cartwright, Baltimore Fire Department.
The home burned to a crisp, and residents are trying to explain to neighborhood children why Lacy won't be out to play anymore.
Ashley Grace's daughter was Raven Lacy's best friend at Holabird Academy.
"I am going to have to sit down with her and let her know she went to a better place," Grace said.
The fire department hopes to have a preliminary investigation report completed this week. For now the cause of the fire is unknown.
