Drew Nicholas On The Impact Of Losing Paul Pierce For The Wizards
Drew Nicholas is a former Maryland Terrapin who now works for the Big Ten Network covering college basketball.
Drew joined Ed and Steve to talk about NBA free agency, players who have signed and players who will in the near future.
Drew started off by talking about Kevin Love returning to the Cavaliers by saying "Cleveland isn't the most desirable of places but clearly he wants to win." As for the Lakers and how much Kobe is hurting them in attracting free agents Drew said "it's difficult because when you have a Kobe Bryant in that meeting room there is no way Kobe will ever want to play second fiddle to anyone...Kobe is still an alpha dog, these free agents want to feel like they're the top guy." Drew also talked about the biggest fish in the free agent market Lamarcus Aldridge and where he expects him to go with San Antonio as the favorites. Drew also talked about the loss of Paul Pierce for the Wizards after Pierce signed a 3 year deal with the Clippers yesterday.
