Deputy Arrests Bank Robbery Suspect
PERRYVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a Cecil County Sheriff's deputy arrested a suspect in a bank robbery in Perryville.
Jeremy Dugan, 33, of Pittsburgh is charged with armed robbery, theft and assault and is being held without bond.
Police say on Monday about 2:35 p.m., a man walked into the PNC Bank branch on Pulaski Highway and gave the teller a note saying her had a gun. The teller gave the man cash, and the robber fled in a car.
Maryland State police tell The Cecil Whig that Deputy 1st Class Gregory Smith passed the vehicle, made a
U-turn and pulled the escape car over.
