Debate Set For 5 Maryland Senate Candidates
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The managing director of the Salisbury University's Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement says a debate has been scheduled with five candidates in Maryland's Senate race.
Leah Reynolds said Tuesday the debate has been scheduled for Oct. 30 in Salisbury.
Reynolds says Democratic incumbent Ben Cardin, Republican challenger Dan Bongino and Independent candidate Rob Sobhani have agreed to participate. She also says Libertarian candidate Dean Ahmad and unaffiliated candidate Ed Tinus have agreed to debate.
Reynolds says two other candidates also could end up participating.
