D.C. Teen Found Guilty In Md. Of Fatal Shooting
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A District of Columbia teenager has been found guilty of murder in Montgomery County.
A jury on Friday convicted Trenton Robinson of first-degree felony murder, armed robbery and other crimes.
The 17-year-old was charged in the December 2010 shooting of 21-year-old Doodley DeRose, of Wheaton, who was found on a kitchen floor with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.
Police say the shooting came after a dispute and occurred after Robinson and others made plans to buy marijuana from DeRose.
Robinson is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 3 and faces life in prison.
