D.C. Officials Announce Veterans Day Traffic Rules
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Transportation officials in the District of Columbia say traffic patterns and restrictions typically used on Sundays will be in effect on Friday for the Veterans Day national holiday.
As a result, officials say there will be no rush hour restrictions or reversible lane changes during the morning and afternoon commutes. They say drivers who use roads that have reversible lanes should be cautious and anticipate two-way traffic.
District public works officials also say parking meter and residential parking restrictions will not be in effect and that
parking enforcement will resume on Saturday.
