D.C. Man Charged In 2005 Cold Case Murder In Md.
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have arrested a man in the 2005 slaying of a Chillum resident.
Marcus Levi Brown, 41, of Washington was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of Reginald Taborn. Police say the two were acquaintances.
Taborn, 49, was found stabbed to death in his home on May 17, 2005. Police collected items near the victim for DNA testing.
Police say earlier this year, a routine search of the FBI's DNA database produced a match.
