Dan Shaughnessy Of The Boston Globe Previews The Orioles Vs Red Sox Series
Dan Shaughnessy, formerly of the Baltimore Sun, covers the Boston Red Sox for the Boston Globe.
Dan joined Ed and Steve to talk about the upcoming 4 game series between the O's and Sox.
Dan started off by talking about the Aaron Hernandez verdict and how it is going over in Boston saying "I think everyone is a little bit numb to it here...It's going to come out that he committed double murder in a shooting spree and played a full season." As for how the Red Sox look so far this season Dan said "the starting pitching which they didn't go out and address, the first turn of the rotation was terrific and the second turn was awful...they're going to score runs, they won 8-7 on Tuesday and there is going to be a lot of that." Dan also talked about David Ortiz and if the pace of play is bothering him or if he is abiding by the rules or not. Dan continued his covering of every sport related to Boston by finishing up talking about the Bruins firing of their General Manager and possibly firing their Head Coach once a new GM is hired.
