D.C. Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Woman
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A District of Columbia man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a woman last month has been arrested.
Lt. Paul Wingate says John William Smith Jr. was arrested Tuesday in Baltimore.
He's being charged with second-degree murder in the Dec. 4 fatal stabbing of Elaine Coleman, 47, in northeast Washington.
Wingate says Smith is being returned to D.C. to face the charge.
He says the stabbing was domestic in nature.
