Customer Shot At East Baltimore Royal Farms During Robbery
BALTIMORE (WJZ/AP)— A customer was shot Tuesday night during a robbery at a Royal Farms in East Baltimore.
Police say just before 10 p.m. Tuesday, an adult male was shot at the convenience store's location on Harford and Echodale roads as it was being robbed.
Officials say officers found the 46-year-old victim insid. He was taken to a hospital. The victim is in good condition and should be released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities were told by witnesses that two men, one of whom had a silver handgun, robbed the store of cash and cigarettes before fleeing.
At some point, officials say the customer was shot in the chest. Police are reviewing video surveillance footage from the store.
