Cumberland Man Admits Producing Child Pornography
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A 72-year-old Cumberland man has pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting a minor to produce child pornography.
John Widdows entered the plea late Thursday in federal court in Baltimore.
He admitted that he made three videos of himself molesting the victim, starting in 2005 when she was 9 years old. Authorities also found other images of child pornography in his possession.
Widdows faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 8.
