CSX Operations Back To Normal After Baltimore Train Derailment
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Days after a train derailed in Baltimore, CSX has resumed normal operations through the Howard Street Tunnel.
No one was hurt when more than a dozen rail cars went off the tracks early Monday morning. It happened near Mount Royal Avenue and Howard Street.
One of the derailed cars contained a highly flammable liquid. Investigators say there were no punctures or leaks to that car.

In a statement Thursday, Rob Doolittle with CSX said:
CSX appreciates the quick response and ongoing support of the Baltimore Fire and Police departments during this incident, as well as the patience of nearby residents who may have experienced some disruption. Safety is CSX's highest priority and its goal is zero accidents; any lessons learned from the investigation into the cause of this incident will be applied to future operations to help meet that objective.
The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
