Craig Laughlin On The Stanley Cup Final And Possible Caps Offseason Moves
Craig Laughlin is the color commentator for the Capitals game broadcasts on Comcast Sportsnet.
Craig joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Stanley Cup Final and what the Caps need this off-season.
Craig started off by talking about whether or not Ben Bishop can keep up his great play against the Blackhawks saying "that's a toss up when you look at Bishop vs Crawford I have to give Crawford the nod because he's been there and done that." When asked about Chicago giving a big amount of ice time to a few defenders Craig said "they only really use 4 guys...I'm a big fan of it to be honest, why not go with your horses that's what you pay them for." As for the Caps this summer and if they can keep Green or Ward Craig said "I don't think so...with Green he's going to be looking at a 5 year $35 million deal on the open market so unless he takes a home town discount he's gone."
