Courier Shot During Robbery Of Armored Truck
OXON HILL, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say a courier with an armored truck was shot during a robbery in Oxon Hill.
It happened about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 6300-block of Livingston Road. Officers say the courier for Loomis Armored Car Service was delivering money to a store.
Police say the man was confronted by a masked gunman, who announced a robbery and shot the courier.
The gunman fled in a car. Police are not certain what the gunman escaped with.
The courier was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
