BALTIMORE- Two women were killed Sunday morning in a home in Middle River, according to Baltimore County Police.
Police responded before 10 a.m. to the unit block of Taos Circle where they found the woman with apparent blunt force trauma to the upper body. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
"We are taking this very seriously, and if they do know anything, to give our detectives a call," Baltimore County Det. Trae Corbin said.
Investigators have not released the names of the women, their ages, or relationship to each other.
Police tell WJZ they are still searching for why this happened.
A family member of the victims tells WJZ they are completely devastated.
They say one of the victims was 29 years old. She was described as funny and sweet. They say they will miss her greatly.
Neighbors describe their neighborhood as quiet, and they are shocked a crime like this happened.
"I got chills to the top of my head. from my toes to the top of my head," said Mary Sisk. "I cried around the block."
Neighbors say it is alarming something like this could happen so close to home.
"This is something you see on Law and Order, or Criminal Minds, not in this neighborhood," said Sofiat Soyemi, who has lived in the area for five years.
No arrests have been made.
"I just feel like everybody should just watch out for each other. It's just important that if you see something, call and speak up because it's about us now keeping each other safe," Sisk said.
