Cockeysville Woman Indicted In Death Of Mother Left On Toilet
COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County police have indicted the daughter of a 91-year-old Cockeysville woman with six counts of manslaughter after they found the elderly woman had been left sitting on a toilet for two days.
Police say that on Jan. 17 at 3:30 p.m., medics responding to the 1000-block of Hidden Moss Drive found Audrey Caslow in the bathroom. Her daughter Sharon Caslow, whom Audrey Caslow lived with, told officers at the scene that she knew her mother was there but that she did not call for help.
Audrey Caslow was transferred to hospice care where she died 10 days later. The Officer of the Medical Examiner ruled that she died of acute renal failure.
A Baltimore County grand jury indicted Sharon Caslow on Aug. 15. She is free on a $100,000 bond.
