Coast Guard Rescues 2 Men From Ocean City Inlet
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Two men had to be rescued from the Ocean City Inlet after being caught in a storm and nearly pulled out to the ocean.
Officials tell WBOC-TV that the men were on personal watercrafts Monday when the weather turned bad. U.S. Coast Guard officials from Ocean City say the two men were wearing life vests, and that may have saved their lives.
Joyce Hartlee of the Oceanic Motel says she heard someone calling for help and saw two men standing on a boat.
The Coast Guard says the two men were 18 and 19 years old. They were treated for mild shock.
