Coast Guard Postpones Emergency Response Exercise
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Coast Guard has postponed an emergency response exercise on the Severn River near Annapolis.
The exercise had been scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. But the Coast Guard now says it's been postponed until next fall.
Crews from agencies including the Coast Guard, Maryland Natural Resources Police and from Anne Arundel County were to have practiced responding to a simulated 64-foot cruise boat in distress.
