Cliff Brown Previews The Ravens Season Opener In Denver This Sunday
Cliff Brown is the Ravens beat reporter for Comcast Sportsnet Mid Atlantic.
Cliff joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Ravens opening the season against the Broncos this Sunday in Denver.
Steve asked Cliff about his thoughts on who he thinks will return kicks for the Ravens this season. Cliff believes that the competition is still ongoing saying, "I think even this week it will be an audition, I do think the Ravens look at punt returning as very important. If worse comes to worse they can get away with a returner that takes care of the football."
Ed asked Cliff what he expects from the Ravens this season. Cliff is confident the Ravens will have a good season but success will come down to the new acquisitions making big contributions, "I think they're a playoff team, the depth could be a question but they're depending on young guys to come through. How far the Ravens go will depend upon guys like Breshad Perriman and Kendrick Lewis."
Cliff went on to discuss the Ravens current running back situation heading into the regular season, predictions for the AFC North division, and the latest on players working back from injuries heading into week one.
