City Police Cadet Arrested For Hitting Wife With Car During Argument
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A city police cadet is arrested in Glen Burnie, accused of ramming his wife with a car.
Police say the couple was arguing in the parking lot of their apartment complex in the 100-block of Plymouth Lane.
The cadet--24-year-old Zachary Mitchell--was behind the wheel of his car at the time.
He tried to pull away, and that's when police say Mitchell struck his wife.
She refused medical treatment at the scene.
Police say Mitchell was scheduled to graduate from the city police academy Friday.
It's not clear yet if he'll be terminated.
