ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) -- A child is rescued after being trapped in a hole in Baltimore County.

It happened outside a McDonald's in the 6300 block of Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale.

Police say two 11-year-old boys fell through a mulched area that used to be a well.

One was able to climb out; the second was trapped about 30-feet down.

Emergency crews were able to rescue the boy about 45 minutes later.

Both were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
