Chesapeake Bayhawks David Cottle Joined Scott And Jeremy For Cottle's Corner
Chesapeake Bayhawks David Cottle called in to Scott and Jeremy for another edition of Cottle's Corner, talking about the Bayhawks 9-6 loss against the Denver Outlaws this past weekend.
"Unfortunately, that was probably the best game in thirty years of coaching that I think I've ever seen another goalie play against us." Cottle said, reflecting on the performance of Outlaws goalie Jesse Schwartzman, who had a season-high 28 saves. "We had some good opportunities, and their goalie stood up to them."
"There's thirty-one guys right now for twenty-five spots on the USA team, and all thirty-one play in our league. So we wound up with twenty-three guys, so really the top fifty four players in the MLL will be playing, and we'll be playing with the shot clock, and also the two point shot, so it'll be much higher paced than you're gonna see when you watch international play when there is no shot clock and teams hold the ball for two or three minutes at a time."
