Carl Snowden To Start Serving 10 Days In Jail
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The former civil rights director for Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler is turning himself in to serve 10 days in jail for violating his probation in a 2010 drunken driving case.
The Capital of Annapolis reports Carl Snowden will turn himself in Friday. That's according to his lawyer Alan Legum. Legum says Snowden was scheduled to report to jail on April 12 but decided to go early to bring the case to an end more quickly.
Snowden was sentenced earlier this month in Anne Arundel Circuit Court to 10 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to the violation. The violation stemmed from his conviction in Baltimore in November of one count of marijuana possession.
