Car Theft Suspect Crashes Into Another Vehicle In Police Pursuit
CLARKSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—A Howard County police chase ended with a bang. The driver of a suspected stolen car crashed into another vehicle while trying to exit I-95 southbound onto Route 216.
It started just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when Maryland Department of Transportation Police were alerted when a stolen, red Lexus passed through the Ft. McHenry Tunnel.
The license plate reader system picked up information that the car was stolen from North Carolina.
MDTA police followed the car into Howard County until the driver lost control on Scaggsville Road.
The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by police.
No one was injured.
