Car Crash In Montgomery County Kills Woman, 20
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Montgomery County are investigating a car crash involving a taxi cab that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old woman.
Police in Montgomery County say they responded to an accident at 2:31 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Mateny Road and Clopper Road. Police say that a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Honda Civic collided with a taxicab. Police say the Honda spun 180 degrees and left the road, striking a tree. The driver of the Honda, 20-year-old Colleen Nicole Bell of Germantown, died at the scene.
The driver of the cab reported an injury but was not taken to a hospital. The crash is under investigation.
