Campaign Ad Features Wife Who Wants Hubby To Get Out Of The House
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--The wife of Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty is pleading with voters to check off her husbands's name next week-- so he can get out of the house!
In what could be the funniest campaign ad of the year, Charlyn Daugherty rolls her eyes as Gerald rambles on and on about his job.
"Gerald really doesn't have any hobbies," said Charlyn in the ad, as her husband discusses work related things around the dinner table.
"Most people leave their work at the office, all he wants to do is fix things," Charlyn said.
The video ends with a last ditch effort by Charlyn: "Please re-elect Gerald,... PLEASE."
Gerald has been holding positions in public office since 2002.
The ad has been viewed more than a million times on Facebook.
