Cake Shop, 2 Homes Damaged By Gunfire In Annapolis
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Police in Anne Arundel County say an Annapolis cake shop and two nearby homes were damaged by gunfire, but no one was injured.
Police were called Friday around 11:30 p.m. to the 1800 block of Saint Margaret's Road for a report of gunshots. Police say gunfire damaged the window of the Cakes and Confections Gourmet Bakery, and a person at the scene believed the gunfire came from a passing vehicle.
About 15 minutes later, officers responded to the 1600 block of the same street, where two windows of a home were damaged by bullets. One of the bullets passed through an occupied bedroom and lodged in a wall. Officers checking for damage also found bullet holes in a neighbor's garage window.
