Buck Showalter Previews Orioles Spring Training
Orioles Manager Buck Showalter joins Ed & Steve to talk about players reporting to spring training, the World Baseball Classic's affect on him as a manager and both Baltimore team's being successful.
Buck didn't watch the Grammy's but he did see some of the ladies fashion.
He also watched the Ravens win the Super Bowl. He enjoyed the game with the sound off and he immediately claims "It's our turn."
Since the Bullets aren't around anymore, it's baseball season in Baltimore. Buck likes the relationship between Baltimore's teams and encourages the whole city being a team. The Ravens wear their hats and they're wearing the Super Bowl champ hats down in Florida. "Why not" and "thats how it should be" are his remarks on the teams supporting one another. He likes that Adam Jones was on the field throughout the playoffs and he knows what he was yelling at Joe Flacco.

Overall, he's happy with his team and the options and competition inside the clubhouse. He has a lot of youth and maneuverability inside the bullpen. Chris Davis is already working hard at Spring Training and is excited at his opportunities this season. Buck talks about how great of an overall athlete he is and what he offers the team. Markakis and Roberts had injury issues last season but players that everyone is excited to see return to the field.
