Brigance Brigade Holds 5.7K Championship Run
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Brigance Brigande will hold its second annual 5.7K Championship Run, a fundraiser for those suffering from ALS.
"This is an exciting time for the ALS community; the disease we have been struggling to fight is finally beginning to get the attention it deserves and the Brigance Brigade Foundation is just trying to do our part in bringing awareness to the cause and giving help to those fighting it," said co-founder and former Raven OJ Brigance.
There will also be a one mile family run/walk and a kid's fun run, as well as live music, snacks and drinks, vendor tables and tents and a kid's fun zone.
All registered participants will receive a Brigance Brigade t-shirt and 5.7K finishers will get a medal.
The event will be in Canton Waterfront Park on Saturday, April 25. It will begin at 9 a.m.
