Protesters Rally In Baltimore One Day After Grand Jury Declines To Charge Officers In Breonna Taylor's Death
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Protesters took to the streets of Baltimore Thursday night, one day after a Kentucky grand jury declined to bring charges against three police officers in the death of Breonna Taylor.
The group marched downtown from the Baltimore City Police Headquarters before ending up at City Hall. Taylor's name echoed down the streets as a police helicopter hovered overhead.
"We('re) just here to take a stand," protester Rico Crenshaw said.
The group, most of whom were dressed in all black, blocked traffic as they called for police reform.

"At first, I didn't really know how to feel and then it turned into anger," protester Ebony Johnson said.
Some of those at Thursday night's demonstration said they won't stop speaking out until justice is served.
"We are going to keep on protesting until we get justice everywhere," Crenshaw said.

Baltimore is the latest city to see protests following the grand jury's decision; demonstrations have happened nationwide Wednesday and Thursday. Two police officers were shot in Louisville Wednesday night following the announcement.
While none of the officers were charged in Taylor's death, one was indicted for endangering neighbors in relation to shooting into her neighbor's apartment, CBS News reports.
