Brandon Williams Joins Scott And Jeremy In Studio

Baltimore Ravens Defensive Tackle Brandon Williams joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn live in studio to check in with how his off-season is going. Brandon lost a teammate in veteran Haloti Ngata last week and the third year tackle is expected to play a bigger role in the Ravens defense this year. He talked about losing Ngata and other teammates over the past couple of weeks. "Haloti, and all of the veterans, welcome all of the rookies with open arms. Haloti was one of those guys I tried to keep close to and stay under his wing as much as possible, because he is who he is. He's such a great player and a great guy. I would watch him, and take mental notes, and see what he does to improve myself."

Baltimore Defensive Line Coach Clarence Brooks has been a staple in Baltimore for years now, Brandon talked about the impact Coach Brooks has on all of the Ravens. "First day, I kind of fell in love with the guy (Clarence Brooks). He's a no nonsense type of guy, but he'll love up on you, wrap your arms around you, and treat you like a man.  He'll tell you what you need to do, he won't sugar coat anything, he'll just tell you like it I, and if you fix it or not is up to you. He told you, he gave you the tools, so you just have to prove yourself and do it. I definitely love him, he's one of the best coaches I've had.

Jeremy is a big fan of most shows on TV, he and Brandon got into a long talk over what Williams likes to watch in his spare time. "In my free time I catch up on TV shows, The Walking Dead, I'm about to finish Californication, I'm starting Sons of Anarchy, and I'm currently watching Dexter. So really just catching up on my shows."
