Boyfriend Of Slain Va. Teacher Arrested In Florida
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Police say a man wanted in connection with the death of a Norfolk teacher has been arrested in Florida.
Norfolk police said Thursday that Frederick Thomas Hoskins was arrested in Jacksonville, Fla., on Wednesday. Police would not release what charges Hoskins faces. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
Hoskins' girlfriend, Karen Hoffman, was found dead in her house last Friday.
The Virginian-Pilot reports that Hoffman, 41, was last seen with Hoskins on March 1.
Police say Hoffman's vehicle was found when Hoskins was arrested.
Hoffman was an English teacher at Booker T. Washington High.
Funeral services were held Thursday in Wenona, Md.
