Body Of Man Found On Sidewalk In Bladensburg
BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say they are investigating as a homicide the discovery of a body found on a sidewalk in Bladensburg.
Sgt. Tracy Stone, a spokesman for the Bladensburg Police Department, tells WUSA-TV that a man's body was discovered in the 5600-block of Annapolis Road about 11 p.m. Monday. Stone says the man suffered some sort of trauma.
His body will be taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
The victim's identity has not been released, pending notification of his next of kin.
Prince George's County police are also investigating.
