Bob also took time to talk about the opening day festivities in Boston including appearances by Bill Russell and Bobby Orr, and the National Anthem sung by David Ortiz's daughter.
Bob also talked about the ban on smokeless tobacco in ballparks and what the fans and players think of it saying "I haven't heard much from the fans, it's a disgusting revolting habit to fans who didn't grow up with a shotgun and a pick up truck...I was never exposed to it until I started covering baseball."
