Bob Haynie: College And Pro Football Picks
To say that I'm on a roll with my football selections would be an understatement. Over the last couple of weekends, I've have been surprising even myself with this consistent brilliance. If I continue at my current pace, I may have to consider a career change.
Well, maybe not. But I have been on fire.
Last week, I had five wins, no losses and one push.
In college, Oklahoma and Washington both covered as they defeated Notre Dame and Arizona, respectively. In one of the best games of the 2013 season, Georgia knocked off LSU, 44-41. Unfortunately, for me, they didn't cover as the spread was -3.
I was perfect with my NFL choices. The Chiefs, who are 4-0, drubbed the hapless Giants. The Seahawks, who are also undefeated, came from behind to shock the Texans in OT. In San Diego, the Chargers overcame a halftime deficit to beat the Cowboys.
On the season, I am 18-4-2.
The quest for the perfect week continues.
