'Bmore Gives More' Exceeds $5M One-Day Goal For Local Charities
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Giving Tuesday turned out to be a big success here in Baltimore.
The nonprofit, Bmore Gives, says it raised more than $5.4 million for local charities.
Many restaurants helped out, donating a portion of their proceeds to some good causes.
Residents also chose to give back with individual donations to BARCS, Moveable Feast and other nonprofits.
The money raised will go to some 140 charities right here in Baltimore.
