Blue Angels Won't Perform At Navy Ceremony
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Blue Angels won't perform eye-catching rolls and dives at this year's Naval Academy graduation ceremonies.
The graduation ceremonies normally occur on the Friday before Memorial Day, but were moved this year to the following Tuesday to avoid traffic tieups. But the new date of May 29 didn't match the schedule of the flight demonstration squadron.
Instead of their traditional hour-long show, the Blue Angels plan to do a single fly-over in 2012.
