BLOG: We Have An Agreement....Wait, What?
Everything looked great for fans yesterday afternoon as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell approached the podium in Atlanta to tell everyone that that the owners had voted in a new CBA. Labor peace for 10 years we were told. Other than losing the Hall of Fame game, everything else will be saved and the facilities will open for business on Saturday. That was until the Players had a chance to respond, and respond they did. With Anger. How dare these owners try to put pressure on the players by courting public opinion. The Owners slipped things into the deal that the players hadn't agreed upon. All hell was breaking loose. All I know now is that the players are supposed to vote today. I hope everything goes well and the Baltimore Ravens are back to work this weekend
