BLOG: Warm-Up In Store For Labor Day Weekend
With the holiday weekend approaching, it's time to see what's on tap for the region. On Friday, plenty of sun and mild to warm conditions will abound everywhere with temperatures in the low 80s.
By Saturday, however, we will see a big warm-up and an increase in the humidity once again. It's likely that a few pop-up thundershowers may develop by the afternoon or evening and temperatures peak out at around 90 degrees! On Sunday, we have a similar pattern but a better chance of a strong or gusty thunderstorm by later in the day, and temperatures again near 90 degrees! On Labor Day, it appears a front will be moving across the state with some leftover morning showers possible , but with temperatures holding in the low 80s. Dry sunny and cooler weather is on tap for Tuesday with highs only in the mid to upper 70s! If you are headed to the Atlantic beaches, look for plenty of sun on Friday and Saturday, but a chance of a shower by Sunday night into early Monday, as well with temps in the low to mid 80s and the ocean temperatures in the low 70s still!
Have a safe and fun holiday weekend!
