BLOG: Two Game Season
Finally some meaningful baseball at Camden Yards!! No the Orioles still don't matter (at least not directly) but the next two nights are going to matter. There are two games left in the regular season and the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are tied for the wild card. The Red Sox are in the process of completing one of the great collapses in baseball history. Nine games up heading into September looked like a lock but Boston has been so bad and its been mostly due to atrocious starting pitching. The O's beat Josh Beckett last night. John Lackey has been terrible and Tim Wakefield is 45. Will the Sox choke? I don't know but I'll be watching.
